One of my favorite hobbies at the moment is ice skating. I've been skating casually for a few years just for fun. Starting a couple of months ago I've started getting more interested in doing it. Now, I usually try to go at least once a week at the UIUC Ice Arena.
I first started learning how to knit through a class in my first year of middle school. I know the basics of knitting and how to make different stitches, but I haven't really practiced making many different items and designs. one of my favorite parts of knitting is when I have to change yearn colors. So far, I most of the things that I make are gifts for other people, but I have made a few things that I keep for myself.
I really enjoy designing different things, whether it be clothing or just organizing my room. I first started getting interested in design through my mom when she started teaching me how to sew. Usually I drift more towards making clothing, however some of my favorite things that I've made are stuffed animals.
