Art Club
I joined the UHS Art Club during the first semester of my junior year. One of the projects that I've been working on throughout my time with Art Club is the cultural mural project. This project is a series of small murals painted on wooden panels that represent different countries that make up the school's student population.
FCCLA
FCCLA (which stand for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) is an organization that focuses on educating students on home economics and financial topics. We first started a chapter during the first semester of school in the 2025-2026 school year. So far I've competed in one competition on the regional level and plan to go to another later in April. I'm extremely proud of the progress that we've made this year and even more thankful that I got the opportunity to be president.
Science Olympiad
I have been apart of the UHS Science Olympiad team for the past 3 years. So far some of our biggest achievements have been winning second place at the state competition last year. Back in the 1990s the school used to have a team, but in 2022 a group of freshmen started the team up again. I've had a lot of fun being a part of the team and I even won 2 second place medals at our regional competition!
